Why should you buy a Payless Assurance® Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle?

Certification Process:  The Payless Assurance® symbol signifies that the vehicle you purchase has been subjected to a demanding 125-point quality assurance inspection and has passed the high Payless Assurance® standards for mechanical performance and interior and exterior appearance.

Limited Warranty Coverage:  The Payless Assurance® Limited Warranty is provided by your selling Payless® Car Sales dealer and designed to help protect your investment.  The Limited Warranty begins at the date of purchase and will be in effect from that date for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Vehicle History Report:  A free vehicle history report is available with every Payless Assurance® vehicle.  This report is obtained by each of our participating Payless® Car Sales dealers before the vehicle is ever brought onto the location and made available for purchase.

Travel Breakdown Protection:  Travel Breakdown Protection will be provided for the duration of your Payless Assurance® Limited Warranty.  If you are more than 100 miles from home and experience a covered Mechanical Breakdown, you can be reimbursed for food and lodging starting the day your claim is reported, up to $75 per calendar day, for a total up to $225 per occurrence.

Rental Car Coverage:  You will be allowed up to $35 per day for up to 10 days for car rental expense (preferably a Payless® Car Rental vehicle) if your vehicle is inoperative and required to be in a shop overnight due to a covered mechanical breakdown.*

Roadside Assistance Coverage:  Roadside Assistance will be provided for one (1) year from the date of purchase, with no limitation on mileage and is good in the U.S. and Canada.  You get up to $50.00 “Sign and Drive” coverage for:

    • a flat tire
    • out of gas (up to 3 gallons per occurrence; up to 4 occurrences)
    • vehicle lockout
    • jump-start
    • emergency towing if your vehicle is inoperative

* Rental car reimbursement is not provided for parts delay, shop scheduling, or for work not covered by the Payless Assurance® Limited Warranty
